In tandem with the region’s favorite cupcakes, Kitsch Cupcakes, the SMASH UP is an invitation that blends in professional portraiture with good old fashion cake smashing fun! “Who hasn’t had cake smashed across their faces at some point growing up?” asks Danielle Oliver, General Manager of Pink Pepper Photography. “It can be a fun birthday tradition; however, getting the pictures of this is always the hardest part! Happy National Day UAE!

Kitsch Cupcakes, Dubai's first specialized cupcakes bar, will be holding a cupcakes workshop for children titled 'My Little Cupcakes Workshop'  from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Burjuman Centre in Dubai. The activity is part of the Burjuman Treat World Food Festival 2012.

The event will be attended by Dalia Dogmoch, Chief Baker & Co-Founder, Kitsch Cupcakes. Children will learn how to decorate cupcakes with their favorite flavors, icing and sprinkles.

The activity will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday over two weekends. Participation is free of charge.

The Kitsch Concept was founded back in 2006 in Beirut by two childhood friends Dalia Dogmoch and Racil Chalhoub. After the success of the Kitsch concept in Lebanon, they decided to introduce it to Dubai opening the city’s first cupcakes concept in November 2008 along the Jumeirah Beach Road. Kitsch will also be recalling their famous Sticky Date cupcake, a moist date cupcake with butterscotch icing!

Kitsch Cupcakes are no strangers when it comes to supporting charity programs and initiatives across the UAE.
